Baldwin Street Challenge - Project Hope & Beyond.

Kia ora, Project Hope & Beyond. is an amazing group of Ex-Cadburys workers + Community. Off the back of the closure of Cadburys Dunedin The Project Team was created to raise money for mental health and health support services in New Zealand. We rise when we lift others, and by supporting our community it is lifting our staff through our mental health wobbles and helps to create connection.

The Project Team fundraises for Life Matters, I Am Hope NZ & Ronald Mcdonald House every Saturday on the old Cadburys Car park. Last year the team took back their old home Cadburys and ran tours through the empty factory to raise money for I Am Hope NZ. This year funds are being raised for Life Matters.

Remember the Jaffa's rolling down Baldwin Street? Well New Zealand we thought it would be fitting that the Ex-Cadburys took on Baldwin Street! The Baldwin Street Challenge, will be held on Saturday the 27th of November. The goal is to run/walk Baldwin Street for 24 hours aiming to climb this massive hill 654 times to represent the number of people in New Zealand who have died by suicide. To get through mental illness you need connection & support and our team needs your support, we cannot do this on our own.

Money raised for Life Matters will go to supporting people at risk of suicide and their whanau, and will also help to provide community education, community awareness and work towards reducing stigma.

You can help by sharing our event with all of New Zealand, because we need your help New Zealand to help lift our team up Baldwin Street. Teams that would love to challenge themselves to inspire and lift those around them in the community can make contact with The Project Team for more details. Please Text Megan on 021 041 1081.

So grateful to all the amazing support!

Thank you!
