Deadlift for suicide prevention

I have personally struggled with mental health throughout my life but after a close friend tried to take his own I wanted to raise more awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.

As a builder we have one of the highest suicide rates out of all the industries, hopefully this epic challenge will get people talking in a positive way.

On Friday 25th June at 7am at The Trainyard Gym Blockhouse Bay I will deadlift 60kgs twice, every 2 minuets for 12hrs, totaling 720 reps and 43.2 tone!

654 people took their own lives in NZ in 2020, each lift will be for one of those people who suffered.
