safeTALK is alertness training that prepares ANYONE over the age of 15, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. SafeTALK is suitable parents, teachers, students, the community, volunteers, first responders, employers....

Participants learn how to recognise a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with someone who can help them to stay safe. This is a great opportunity to learn invaluable skills that will help you to identify and support a potentially suicidal friend. Most people with thoughts of suicide don’t truly want to die, but are struggling with the pain in their lives. Through their words and actions they are inviting help to stay alive.

Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to attend but cannot due to financial situations - we may be able to assist.
