Our eleventh annual Life Matters World Suicide Prevention Day event is just around the corner! Join us at our free (!!) community event on Tuesday 10 September, from 6-8pm at Knox Church in Dunedin
The theme for this year is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide” and encourages us to #StartTheConversation about suicide. It’s a beautiful opportunity for our community to play a crucial role in shifting the narrative on suicide from silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding and support. Whether you are a mental health professional, survivor, friend, or a family member, your voice matters.
Together we can start the conversation and save lives.
What to expect? We have a line up of some remarkable speakers who bring powerful and inspiring stories, and we are deeply grateful that they've chosen to share their journeys with us. This will be followed by a panel discussion where we hope to invite members of the community to ask questions to further the discussion on how we can change the narrative on suicide.
