Important training opportunities
In this special newsletter we are highlighting two training opportunities, safeTALK and ASIST. SafeTALK is an introduction course to suicide safety, which aims to help people recognise when a loved one or a person you are concernd about is having thoughts of suicide, and how to connect them with resources to help them choose life. ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training) is the next step. It is a two-day workshop which equips people with skills to intervene in a suicide crisis.
